Personal illustration and cel animation project depicting a surreal encounter between a human diver and an ocean embodied as a divine female figure.
Inspired by freediving and marine imagery, the project combines hand-crafted illustration, frame-by-frame animation, and compositing techniques to create a visual narrative where a small diver descends toward a personified ocean presence.
Created using Procreate, After Effects, and traditional animation workflows, the artwork explores the relationship between humans and the sea through symbolic storytelling and dreamlike underwater imagery.
